Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity was founded on September 11, 1865 to help heal the wounds of the North and South caused by the Civil War. ATO now ranks among the top 10 national fraternities for number of chapters and total number of members. The mission of the Texas Kappa Gamma Chapter is to uphold and promote the core values of Leadership, Scholarship, Brotherhood, and Character by providing a healthy atmosphere of Love and Respect, through which individual members uplift, encourage, and support each other. If you wish to be a part of America’s leadership development fraternity, then ATO is the place for you.
ATΩ (Alpha Tau Omega) is an American Leadership fraternity that annually ranks among the top ten national fraternities for number of chapters, and total number of members. ATO has more than 250 active and inactive chapters with more than 200,000 members and more than 6,500 active undergraduate members. The 200,000th member was initiated in early 2009. The ATΩ Foundation provides more than $150,000 in annual scholarships to members including scholarships to attend the LeaderShape Institute, Inc.
